Description
This research aims to understand the process of spreading the American private model of health in Brazil, identifying its influence in the privatization of SUS (the Brazilian Unified Healthcare System), since the 1990s. It is about a focus on the understanding of the struggle between private and public interests in the configuration of the American and Brazilian model. This research is part of the cooperation with the University of Massachusetts Boston – United States.
